Lock - version 1:
You
bring out 5 keys and a solid brass padlock. The spectator
finds that 1 key opens the lock and 4 do not. The keys are
mixed and place in a row on the table. You hold the lock
at your finger tips and slowly pass the lock over each of the 5
keys. As the lock is passed over a key, the lock
magically pops open. The spectator tries that key and
finds that it is the only key that opens the lock.

Lock - version 2:
You
bring out 5 keys and a solid brass padlock. The spectator
finds that 1 key opens the lock and 4 do not. The keys are
mixed and place in a row on the table. Your volunteer
picks up keys one and a time and sends you mental vibes to
unlock the lock. As she holds the correct key, the lock
pops open at your finger tips. The spectator tries the key
and this is the only key that opens the lock.
Effect
#3 Mental
Lock - version 3:
You
bring out 5 keys and a solid brass padlock. The spectator
finds that 1 key opens the lock and 4 do not. The keys are
mixed and place in a jar or in a pile on the table. You
wave the lock a few inches over the keys. This causes
psychic friction which makes the correct key to heat up
slightly. Your volunteer is asked to reach into the pile
and pick up the key that feels the warmest and clench it tight
in their fist. As soon as they do this, the lock you are
holding in your finger tips pops open. This key is tried
in the lock and it unlocks the lock.
